Adult Comedy Class **Don't Be a Baby!**
Are you the “funny person at work”? Do all your friends tell you you should do stand-up? Well, now’s your chance to do something about it! Taught by Springfield native Katie Still, Stand-up Comedy for Adults is a five week course (1 night/wk, 2 hrs/class) that will teach you how to mine for material, write and perform jokes, and identify your unique perspective. This class will also expose you to different comedic styles and approaches by watching and discussing clips of the very best to do it and showing you ways to incorporate what you’ve learned into your own comedic journey. At the end of the course you will be performing real stand-up comedy on a real stage at a real comedy club in front of a real audience of your real family and friends hosted by Katie Still. Whether you’re interested in stand-up as a hobby, career, or just looking to increase your confidence in public speaking, this class is a great place to start.
